Dinner Gallery will be exhibiting works by Baltimore-based artist, Phaan Howng and Brooklyn-based artist, Adrienne Elise Tarver. These two artists focus on the creation of new narratives for diminished or forgotten voices. Together, Howng and Tarver return agency back to their prescribed forms whether commenting on the environment or marginalized voices. Through this dual presentation, we hope to highlight the complications that arise out of lost narratives, the ways in which we can honor them and our relationships to the past, present and future.
